The learners inherit the earth.
The learn-ed (those who need not learn anymore) are fully and beautifully equipped for a world that no longer exists. – Eric Hoffer
Learn as much as you can. Understand that there is no magic pill that you can take, no injection you can receive that will transform you into the leader you need to be to succeed like you want to. This develops through constant study and disciplined practice of what you learn.
I list here many resources that I have collected over the years. Still to this day, I study and learn. Many times, you’ll catch me reading something that I’ve read 5, 7, or even 10 times. This is because as we develop, we are aware of new things that we may not have been aware of before, or there are insights that we need constant reminder of.
As far as motivation goes, it’s commonly said that it’s just temporary. I’ve even sat with people who have said they don’t want to partner with me because they fear that the excitement wouldn’t last – that their energy would diminish.
It’s true, motivation isn’t permanent. But in the wise words of Zig Ziglar, “Neither is bathing – but we recommend it daily!”
