Your list is your inventory.

If you have no inventory, you cannot provide value to your market.

Tips to increase this inventory:

1. Never prejudge.

You cannot with any measuring device decide how much drive or desire one has to do better for themselves. You cannot possibly imagine the potential you miss out on if you don’t talk to someone because you think they would be resistant to what you have to share.

2. Keep adding to the list.

You will always think of someone that could see what you do as an entrepreneur. As you’re driving, someone will come to mind because you drove by their place of work, or by the college they go to. Keep your list close by so you can add to it (before you forget who it was!)

Use Memory Joggers. You can find these anywhere, and they work great. They list off different types of people you may know either by occupation or relationship to you. You can become a master List-Builder just with this technique alone! Quickly, do you know a doctor? A cousin? a boss from your current job, or a previous one? co-worker? parents? On average, you will have come up with 10 people right there!

3. Network with new people.

To build relationships with people, it takes practice. So, if there’s an opportunity to meet new people, go and meet them! Don’t show them your biz op, or tell them the glories of Network Marketing. Meet them – talk about their dreams, interests, passions… and keep a mental note of the people you really want to work with! Get to know more people, and more people will get to know you!

4. Social Media!

You can buck the system all you want, but this is by far the fastest, most efficient way to build your list. Imagine going to a party with 200,000,000 people!!! Do the same as you would networking at any other social gathering. Here, you can stand on your own soapbox, and people will get to see you.. get to know you.. and want to know more about you… and how you can help them achieve their dreams.

Best place to go to learn this is http://socialmediarescue.com <—and best of all, it’s free!!!

There’s More!

SEO, Blogging, website production, buying leads, submitting ads in local papers, lassoing passerby’s legs and dragging them (Just joking!!) are just a few creative list-building techniques.

As time goes on, I will add them here, or to the home page, categorized to match List-Building.
